Additional tips to get the most out of Canva
*Use attractive videos and photos. Pick images that are personal for your club, or
photos that make people happy. This could include landscapes, smiling people, or
fireworks. If you enjoy watching the video, your audience will too.
*Add a twist to your photo or video. Make it as interesting as possible with a different
angle or combination so it stands out. It will make people stop scrolling to look and
figure it out when it doesn’t make sense.
*Make the text concise and clear. You can always put details attached to the ad or in-
clude a link, but don’t use too much text within the ad itself. This will distract from the
photo or video and the main message could get lost.
*Experiment and have fun! Remember it doesn’t have to be perfect or take a lot of
time. Try out different features, and enjoy the process. Soon you’ll find what works the
best for you.
