Silicon Forest Celebrates 30th Anniversary.
Where were you in the summer of ‘93 when Silicon Forest Toastmasters was charted?
On October 25, 2023, we gathered for an open house to celebrate this major milestone. We shared old pho-
tos of club meetings and events and marveled at the haircuts “back in the day!” A few of our members have
a rich history with the club, but not all the way back.
Our club banner is heavy with Distinguished Club ribbons earned over the years, thanks to the work and
ingenuity of our club members. Over the years, we have helped many Silicon Foresters earn Distinguished
Toastmaster awards. Longtime member Eric Winger has triumphed in four district-level speech contests,
showcasing talents honed in our meetings and cheered on by fellow members.
Silicon Forest continues to shape future leaders through interactive hybrid meetings, constructive feed-
