For me the big take home message from district training in Kuala
Lumpur is Club Quality. What constitutes a Quality
Club? It all gets back to our members. People
choose and join a club for a variety of reasons. For
many it is work related. For others it’s for personal
growth. No matter the reason we all joined to
change a current behavior or hone a skill. In other words, we had
goals to meet and we believed Toastmasters could help us
achieve them.
You know you belong to a quality club if:
All speeches are manual speeches
Speeches are evaluated according to criteria set forth in the manual
Members have adequate opportunities to speak
There are enough members to fill all the roles
Your club is attracting and retaining members
Your club holds speech contests
Your club strives to be Distinguished or better
Club officers are trained twice a year
Submit Club Dues: Earn Rewards
The first 5clubs to reach their base or 20 paid members will earn one of the
following for your club:
Here is how it works:
Submit club dues to Toastmasters International
Use a club debit card for instantaneous processing
When you have submitted dues for your club base or 20 email lgm@d7toastmasters.org
A club must have 8 paid members on October 1st in order for a club to remain in good standing with
Toastmasters International.
* Club base, the number of members you had on June 30, 2014. Don’t know your club base, enter
