For me the big take home message from district training in Kuala
Lumpur is Club Quality. What constitutes a Quality
Club? It all gets back to our members. People
choose and join a club for a variety of reasons. For
many it is work related. For others it’s for personal
growth. No matter the reason we all joined to
change a current behavior or hone a skill. In other words, we had
goals to meet and we believed Toastmasters could help us
achieve them.

You know you belong to a quality club if:
 All speeches are manual speeches
 Speeches are evaluated according to criteria set forth in the manual
 Members have adequate opportunities to speak
 There are enough members to fill all the roles
 Your club is attracting and retaining members
 Your club holds speech contests
 Your club strives to be Distinguished or better
 Club officers are trained twice a year
