Can Clubs Stay Relevant in Modern Times?
Ways to attract and keep younger members

In 1924 Toastmasters started. In those times, over a hundred years ago, belonging to any type
of club or association whether it be Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, or Toastmasters, was very useful.
Before finding friendships online, these clubs allowed for human connections. Before Yelp,
these clubs were the place to go for recommendations for services from good Chinese food to a
fairly priced mechanic. Before the option of giving to “Go Fund Me, “these clubs assisted their
members in need and organized community service activities. However clubs, once a valued
community resource, are now struggling to stay strong in modern times.
