ina Christaria—Division A Member of the Month
As president of the Southern Oregon Speechmasters, Salina truly
leads by example. Her positive energy, humor, and enthusiasm
enliven our meetings and help make them, in her own words,
"more fun than going to the movies!" With her natural leadership
skills, she provides direction for the club while helping to moti-
vate members on their paths to improved communication skills
and personal growth.
She truly has the ability to make members feel valued.
In addition to lending a hand and filling in any role when
needed during meetings, she actively gives of her time outside of meetings, even on weekends, to get
the word out to the community about all that Toastmasters has to offer. Gracious and welcoming to
guests, Salina encourages them to try out our club and explore the benefits that a membership could
offer. Salina's knowledge and professionalism keep our club running smoothly and her sparkle and
wit keep us smiling. She clearly deserves recognition.
Other honored nominees for November were:
Nathaniel Duarte, Rogue Valley Networking—Nathaniel continues to excel as our young club's VP
Education. He assists our president in many ways and keeps our club on track. Nathaniel joined our
club the week he turned 18 years old after being a frequent guest as the son of our immediate past
president Tim Duarte. Toastmasters, "Where Leaders Are Made," even when they can't enjoy a glass
of wine!
