Dear Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews,
Uncles and Aunts
Well. Here I am in about 8 or 10 feet of snow
and ice glacier in advance. 2500 feet to crawl
over with 12 pounds on. But on the other side
is the land of GOLD. Well say you ought have
seen me feed the fish. I did not let them want
for anything except time to eat it. I was on the
boat about 20 days. We lay in anchor 2 days on
the Northern coast is very rough.

Dear Son and Family
I write in answer to your card of a few days past.
We were glad to learn that you were all reasonably
well and that you had got a job. This leaves all well
except myself. I am slowly improving. I am able to
be up and around in the house. My appetite is now
good.
