There is much activity in the District this month! Club
champions are preparing for the area and divison contests
and looking for opportunities to practice. Membership
renewals are underway and District leaders are avidly
scanning the stat reports to see whether they will meet their goals this year.

The District’s leadership team is out searching for candidates to fill next year’s
roster of open positions, the conference committee is in a huddle preparing
for this year’s extravaganza, the annual division realignment is underway,

and members are rushing to finish the requirements needed to earn their
DTMs before the traditional education program ends on June 30, 2020. All
in all a very busy month!
On top of Toastmasters activity, it is the month of hearts! I hope you took
time away from the whirlwind of everyday busyness to thank your significant

other, family, and friends for putting up with you this past year! My hubby
and I shouted at each other, in unison, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! as we EDITORIAL
went about our early morning routines. That, followed by a great breakfast,

was all we needed to renew our togetherness for another year.
How about you and me? Will we have another year together? I hope so!
Please pay your dues, lend a hand beyond your club, and for the sake of the
entire community, volunteer to become the leader you were meant to be. If we
do our part, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
