I have learned many lessons from many people over the years, but
the one series of lessons I learned the most from was not from a
people. She was a cat, a large cat, a cougar.

1938 – 1939 Origins of District 7
Despite economic hardships of the Great Depression, Toastmasters
International continued growing. This membership growth resulted
in District 2, established May 31, 1935

Congratulations to all Division, area, and clubs who stepped up
to the challenge of the Toastmasters Distinguished Program and
acheived their goals.

I would like to share a little aobut myself, what I do for fun and touch
on a journey that led me here to Toastmasters.

The Willamette Divsiion enjoyed a strong year in 2014-15 by
any measure. We raised the number of clubs to26 by charter-
ing three new clubs.

Webinars are a treat way to learn and interact with others from
the comfort of your own home. Another advantage is they can be
recorded, accessed throgh the District 7 website, and reviewed at
any time.
22 Aim High and We’ll Hit High!
In August 2016, the Toastmasters International Conference will be
held in Washington, D.C. At the same time, the Olympic Games will be
held in Rio de Janeiro.

Evaluations
If the way to being a great public speaker is to get good evaluations,
then a club that focuses exclusively on evaluations would be the
ideal way to help anyone become a better speaker.
