This process is called auditory editing. There is a lot more to writing and delivering a
world championship speech than just using auditory editing and identifying the
answers to the three questions we discussed at the beginning of this article. Those are
all topics for another article. For now, I hope you will take the time to identify your
answers to the three questions: 1) Who am I?; 2) What am I about? And, 3) Where did I
learn that? I hope too that you will begin writing your speeches in your own oral
voice. It is more work initially, but produces champion results.
Finally, remember nobody can be you. Nobody has lived the life you have lived,
learned the things you have learned from the people and events in your life. You have
a rich and bountiful supply of wisdom to impart to this world, so: Speak from your
heart and the world will listen!
