ce Ast—Division H Member of the Month
Vince has served Silicon Forest Club very professionally and
effectively making a difference to the overall well being of the club.
As a Sergeant at Arms, he has set the perfect stage for the club to
have efficient meetings. He has passionately provided feedback at
each meeting to take us to the next level. He makes every guest feel
welcomed and they leave the meeting with a desire to come back.
Vince has been a member of Silicon Forest Toastmasters for 11
years (or maybe 12), and has been a great support to this club. He
challenges us to learn and to improve in all areas of our club: our
speeches, how we perform in our roles during a meeting, and in contests that are well attended.
Vince totally exemplifies every part of our mission statement! Not only has he supported our club
but he is also a past Area Governor. I hope that you take great consideration of Vince and his
contribution to Toastmasters,. . .AND HE DOES THIS JUST FOR FUN! Due to his effort, much of the
confusion about how to run the meeting has been clarified, leading to smooth transitions and a
better understanding of roles and responsibilities.
Vince has been a rock-solid part of Silicon Forest Toastmasters for many, many years. Through
personal tragedies, he continues to give his all as Sergeant at Arms. His speeches are funny, and well-
planned. His evaluations are insightful and helpful. His professionalism and commitment to our club
are first-rate. Above all, I admire his humility. It belies all he does. Plus he's a really nice guy!
Other honored nominees for November were:
Michael Blythe—Bridge Toastmasters has been a great asset to the District by volunteering to
Judge or perform a supporting tole at many Area andDivision contests this past cycle as well as
helping out with our local youth club Future Stars. Michael also went as far as paying several hundred
dollars out of his own pocket so that several members of the District could attend the Fall District
Conference using the group rate.
Bushan Gupta—Silicon Forest Club, as President of the club, did an execellent job in keeping the
club organized and on track. He continues to keep each club member of Silicon Forest involved with
the Area, Division and District events by keeping the line of communication open between club
officers, area/division governor and members of the club.
